What if: God Believes in You

Many of us carry so much guilt and fear over the things we may have done that we aren’t proud of, or maybe didn’t know any better at the time.  Our guilt and shame are separating us from God.  The point is we are doing it to ourselves.  We are keeping God at bay like Adam and Eve trying to hide in the Garden.  God is still with us and Believing in us, but we aren’t connected because of ourselves being in our own way.

God believes in YOU!

Our Heavenly Father is patiently waiting and hoping for you to come to him and Repent.

God loves you Right Now!  If you don’t feel it, just ask for forgiveness in Jesus Name

1 John 1:9

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”.

I did an exercise with a Life Coach that really helped me.

(Life Coach is Jill Haas, Jill commented on this below)

Jill had me go back in my mind to a traumatic time in my life when I was very young.

Jill had me talk and comfort my younger self.

Then when at Peace, Jill had me give my younger self a hug

Go back in your mind comfort yourself

Give yourself a Hug

Free yourself from your own Prison!

Watch this video and let go
You deserve it!!!

  1. I love this, Brent. That’s such a powerful exercise and I’m so glad you remembered it. I also love your inspiration. Perfect pairing with the song.

Not everyone’s willing to embrace the younger parts of them. They’re so busy pushing away who they are today. Some are feeling broken, unloved and even hating themselves while holding parts themselves in contempt.

Realizing who we are today is compiled of the many parts of us who made so many decisions when we were younger about life, others and the world. So much of those old beliefs just aren’t true anymore. And probably weren’t true at the time. Self-Compassion is essential.

Each and every one of us is a beautiful child of God! We all deserve love and compassion. Even if now as an adult, it has to come from ourselves, to ourselves in addition to embracing the mercy and compassion of God.
