You were made on purpose for a purpose!
Stop editing the design to match a trend.
Be happy with how God made you.
Keep your sense of right and wrong when the crowd changes its mind.
You are not a rough draft.
Made on purpose
Before you were born, you were known.
Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.”
The face. The body. The wiring. The strengths. The limits.
All of it.
Happiness starts when you stop treating yourself like a project that needs fixing for other people.
You already won the biggest race there is for Life! Give thanks every day for being Chosen by God!
Psalm 139:14 “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
The Validation Trap
Filters. Comparison. Plastic surgery done to win approval.
The tool is not the whole problem. The motive is.
When the goal is “make them like me,” you hand them power over your peace.
You are chasing an impossible to achieve moving target.
Medical need is one thing.
Chasing a look the crowd currently likes is another.
That crowd will change. Your design will not.
1 Samuel 16:7
“For the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance,
but the Lord looketh on the heart.”
Galatians 1:10
“For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men?
for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
Proverbs 31:30
“Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised.”
Animals don’t argue with their design
A bird does not apologize for flying.
A fish does not try to walk because the land animals are trending.
They do what they were made to do.
We resist ours because we listen to voices that were never ours.
Trends come and go.
A conscience aligned with God is older than the trend.
Matthew 6:26
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns;
yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?”
Job 12:7-8
“But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee.”
True Happiness comes from within!
It cannot be achieved through others.
It may appear to be there for a season, but that is a trap.
Be truly happy knowing who you are then all your relationships will be better not being based on need
Romans 12:2
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
For a purpose
Being yourself is not “do whatever you feel.”
It is to stop fighting the design, and do the work you were made to do.
As Jesus Said:
That includes not handing your peace, your body, or your sense of right and wrong to the crowd.
Romans 9:20
“Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus?”
You are made on purpose for a purpose.
Trust your design.
Be the you God intended.
