Testimonies: Mercy Waits for You
Signs From God Delivered August 22, 2023

For many days I had been praying for people (especially those with good hearts) who had been deceived into making harmful decisions — especially concerning the COVID vaccines and other lies of the world. The weight of that deception was heavy on my heart.
This is a tough one, because of what is written in HOSEA:
Hosea 4:6
On the Morning of August 22, 2023 I opened my Bible and simply prayed:
“Heavenly Father, guide me to what You want me to read.”
I was not thinking about the topic in that moment — I was simply asking to be led.
God guided me straight to the book of Jonah.
I thought: oh that’s interesting, I’ve heard of Jonah and the whale, but hadn’t read that book yet.
The trials and tribulations of Jonah are very interesting and the last part of the story, I didn’t know.
Jonah was upset at God because God didn’t follow up on what was foretold to Jonah, which Jonah proclaimed to the town of Nineveh that it will be “Overthrown” (destroyed) in 40 days.
As I read, it became clear this was the direct answer to my prayers. Even when a people have been deeply deceived and walked in evil ways, God’s mercy is still available if we turn from those ways.
Jonah 3:10
“And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.”
God then proceeds to teach Jonah a lesson about anger and God’s mercy.
Jonah 4:11
“And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?”
God spared the city because they turned from their evil ways and many there did not know any better.
When I read the last verse in Jonah (above),
I was overcome with very strong emotions, a sense of knowing that my Prayer will be answered and how
Great God’s Grace is.
God has not changed.
No matter how many wrong decisions we or others have made,
there is still mercy and hope for those who humble themselves and turn back to Him.
Later that day, a message from Julie Green powerfully confirmed what I had received in prayer. God is still speaking.
Nineveh was one of the most wicked and violent cities of its time — full of evil, idolatry, and bloodshed.
Yet when they turned from their ways, God spared them.
If He showed mercy to Nineveh, He can surely show mercy to you.
I pray this testimony encourages you. It is never too late to turn back to the Lord.
