What if spelling means more than just how to arrange letters
Genesis 1:3
“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
The Bible tells us that God Created the Heavens and the Earth by Speaking it into existence.
The Bible also tells us that we are created in Gods image.
What if we also speak things into existence?
What if there is no coincidence that casting a spell and how to spell a word use the same word to describe what most of us have always thought to be different things?
The idea of casting a spell has a dark magic connotation and that is not what I’m talking about here.
I’ve included a small sample of what the Bible warns about words from out of our mouth:
Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.
The one who guards his mouth preserves his life; The one who opens wide his lips comes to ruin.
But the things that proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and those defile the man.
In every encounter
We either Give Life
Or we Drain it;
There is no Neutral Exchange

Love this ! This is a powerful message. My favorite has to be Proverbs 13:3 ” The one who guards his mouth preserves his life….the one who opens his lips comes to ruin.
I learned this a few years ago, to stop, breath and listen to where my thoughts are and to watch what I say under every circumstance. So easy to become frustrated and keep repeating negative words over our life when the going gets tough. But GOD reminds us that our WORDS are so powerful.
